To the new school year!

Dear parents and students welcome to the 2023/2024 academic year..

Good luck to parents whose children are beginning Early Intervention, this is a wonderful opportunity for your child to catch up. Congratulations to those children who have graduated out of Early Intervention and are beginning their journey with CPSE. For elementary school children this year is full of promise, with emphasis being placed on the teaching of phonics and the introduction of new reading programs by Chancellor Banks. For children entering middle and high school we hope the transition is smooth as you enter into your new environment, changing classes, making friends and doing more advanced work.

Any adjustment is a challenge, parents allow your child at least a  month-6weeksto settle into their new routine. If they continue to have challenges after this time, begin reaching out to your CPSE providers and special ED coordinators for assistance. A word of warning, if your child is not receiving their services reach out to your special ED coordinators immediately to avoid delays and to ensure your child receives their mandated services.
